Ordinaryong Miyerkules

Miyerkules, pagitan ng Martes at Huwbes

Magising man ako ng ilang beses

Magising man ako ng ilang beses

Ang Miyerkules ay Miyerkules

BOW!

-GELO BOY BLUES-

Happy Miyerkules to all!, alaws ako magawa tsong. Eto nandito lang ako sa computer shop hanging out and fixing my computers in preparation for school year 2009-2010. Wishing you all the best, success and happiness hehe siya daw ang 75th of the 75 contestants na napili sa patimpalak na iyon.

Moving forward, gaya nang ipinangako ko, I'll be talking about music ika-nga ni Bob Marley at inaalay ko itong mga kataga ni Boss Bob sa mga musikero sa mundo "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain". Napakaganda, simple ngunit may kalaliman ang lyrics na ito backed up with a relaxing, jumpy reggae beat "Hit me with music, Hit me with music Yeah Yeah" and this song also signifies the rule of the universe yung tinatawag na balance of life. "Trench Town Rock, You Reap What You Sow" tama si Bob Marley, kung ano ang iyong tinanim yun din ang iyong aanihin. Look at our country, look at the politicians a lot of them are corrupt, they steal from us but look closely, they are rich and famous but I am definitely sure that their lives are not as happy as mine, not as peaceful too. According to Master Kong and also Jesus "Don't do unto others what you don't want others to do unto you"......... Gelo ang lalim mo naman!........ hahahaha but seriously, when Jesus said this, He summarized the ten commandments. Before when we were in elementary in the religion class, we are expected to memorize all ten but if you analyze the saying by using one of the commandments as an example:

Though Shall not Kill - Don't do unto others what you don't

want others to do unto you

Analysis:

tao mo? - Aba ako syempre ayaw ko kaya di ako papatay -GeloBlues-

It is very easy to understand what's happening in our country. What makes us poor, what makes the Philippines a Third World Country itis the idea of "Ako muna bago ang bayan" it is always about you, me not for good of the many. You like to be prosperous with your evil ways, hindi man lang naisip na may iba pang tao sa lupaing ito, tapakan na ang dapat tapakan, gulangan na ang dapat gulangan hayyyyy may Diyos pa kaya kayo?

I would like to end this by leaving a thought to reflect on. The universe is about balance, Karma is present in our lives. Please don't do unto others what you don't want US to do to unto you. Heto na ang Trench Town Rock by Bob Marley, this is a reggae song and I pasted the lyrics and chords research on this blog enjoy and start singing this, highly recommended by me hahahaha.

Gelo's Thoughts April 27, 2009

Its been a long time since I last posted here. Nabasa ko ulet yung mga nauna kong blog and naawa ako sa sarili ko looking back how foolish I am when it comes to love. Past is past, mixed emotions din e, nakakaawa pala ako lalo na pag kinakawawa ko ang sarili ko at nakakatawa na din as if I am a person outside myself seeing a guy in pain.

Now let's change the topic. I am happy now because I see the changes in myself from the last blog that I created years ago and the changes of Gelo today as I write this. I love to talk about music, pag music na talaga ang usapan that's when I talk a lot. I love sharing ideas about equipments, techniques and everything I experienced in music good or bad. My lovelife is still the same, loveless pa rin pero ok lang dadating din siya in the right time and place, sana ikaw na yun kung ikaw nga ang "ikaw" na tinutukoy ko ngayon, malamang alam mo na siguro kung sino ka o malamang hindi pa basta I won't name names pero paniguradong hindi na ung "her" na tinutukoy ko sa mga huling blog ko.

Who is the new "SHE" sa buhay ko, it is something for me to keep a secret for secrecy is really needed today mahirap ang sitwasyon at baka lalo pang lumabo.

Ngayon ay April 27, 2009, headline news, Jeff Beck is going to be inducted in the 2009 Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame. He is one of my favorite guitarists. He has very good technique with unique vibrato style. I love his version of Cause We Ended As Lovers originally recorded by Stevie Wonder isa din siya sa mga idol ko. When I listen to Jeff, he never fails to send chills down my spine, grabe ang intensity and feelings na nilalagay niya sa bawat kalabit ng gitara at bawat kambyo niya sa tremelo bar ng strat niya. Because of him, I studied and came up with my own style of finger picking, mahirap talaga ang style nya so I came up with a remedy for now. Another technique a guitarist must learn from Jeff is the way he plays with volume controll, if you pluck a string with the volume turned off, then as the strings vibrate turn the volume up gently, slowly but surely it makes the guitar sound like a violin, play with your tremelo bar if you have one on your guitar it gives a creepy sound but if used correctly as Jeff does it gives a very sexy sound grabe nakakarelax enough with that I might get naughty, basta nakakarelax haha congratulation Sir Jeff Beck! Hope I reach your level and fame ;)

My song of the day is Paul Mccartney's "Your Loving Flame" a song he wrote for his ex-girl friend Heather Mills.

As Pinoy Rappers di ako sure ha basta rapper pinoy man o hindi introduce their piece, let me start by saying "It goes a little something like this!" break it down hahaha:

Here Forever In Your Loving Flame

= Paul McCartney =

Your Loving Flame, my personal favorite from the Driving Rain album. The song is very me, the happy, sad, angry and very loving me, I find it really sweet and it really caught me offguard the first time I heard it, it made me cry and memories really came back with all the effects that you can get from a slide show you made using a regular powerpoint, well they call me Gelo Boy Blues, iyakin huwag lang gagalitin! hahahaha just kidding, jokes are half meant anyway. Enough with that, you know guys, try to research on this song or you can ask me its mp3 file, learn and sing this to your girlfriend or boyfriend just transpose the chords ladies! The song is easy to play and kahit medyo palpak basta sincere ka, the kilig factor will surely follow.

As I end this, guys you can comment anytime pag may requests let me know or if there is something to improve let me know, I am not a writer, what you read is what you get ika nga. How can I, Hope to reach your love? Help me to discover what it is you're thinking of. April 27 is one of the best days in my life and I wanna thank God for giving me another day to live. I love you all and to "she" I think I'm loving you more and more..... take care!

GOOD MORNING, GOOD AFTERNOON, GOOD EVENING!!!

All of us are victims of illusion that puts us down in a hole of never ending darkness. Now, I'm in a crisis, it is the hole that I'm taliking about, I am trying to get out of it and if I stay there a little bit longer will probably destroy me. How I wish I was addicted to alcohol or drugs, for I know that there is a way I can escape it without breaking my heart. I'm talking like this haha, my friends say "nothing's new with you!". The last time I felt this was 6 years ago. That's the only clue about where I am right now. Ok friends, start laughing, call me names! haha YES! to them this is a laughing matter, to me its not..... Everyone knew me as Angelo Franchesco the joke, the clown, the villain who's weapon can destroy your dignity making you the star of his practical jokes..... but look deeper, look at his eyes, look at his soul, he is a wounded animal, a prisoner of his own darkness, he is in pain but manages to smile....

Friends many of you saw me drunk, stoned and sober, many of you say that there's no difference, at any of those state I can still make you laugh. Warren said a couple of weeks ago "GELO SALAMAT HA! ANG SARAP MO TALAGA KAUSAP!!" of course he is sarcastic because I am making fun of him, he's talking to me in a nice way and I answer him back in a very clowny philosophic manner, my answer is very far from the topic. Warren and I are friends (obvious ba??? kitams, pilosopo ako diba??) kidding aside, we belong to the same band. This is the first time I experienced a very close bond with a bass player. We have the same way of thinking and we are branded as plastic, sarcastic and fashion oriented rock 'n' rollers. Now I would like to brand us as the Plastic Souls and Masters of Sarcasm and Fashionistic Fools in the band. We are not really plastic people, we're just making fun i.e. a friend is bragging some things on his life, we just look at each other and smile or laugh or try to sympathize if a friend feels to bad, we just enjoy a friend's demise or make fun of his highest moments. We are not bad people, we just enjoy ourselves that can be so obvious to the victim, leaving him in a state where all he can do is to pretend that he doesn't know what we are doing. I laugh and I enjoy but when you look deeper, that's why I am enjoying like this it is because I have a serious problem, I am empty. Do I hate myself? NO! of course not, WHY NOT??? I myself is a victim of my own practical jokes.... I consider my self as a victim, a very thankful victim, I'm not crazy, and I’m just a funny human being, a great pretender. AND AS AN ENDING TO THIS NON SENSE BLOG, THESE ARE MY PARTING WORDS:

LIFE IS A GAME AND IT IS NOT A TOY, LIFE IS A PARTY AND THIS IS HOW YOU SPELL LIFE.....L O V E..... OK? REMEMBER THAT!

Monday, March 5, 2007

Sometimes, we ask ourselves about where is this life leading us. For me, I see life as a crossroad, an intersection, where you can find a lot of places to go to, a lot of ways that will make you feel unsure. In the words of Paul McCartney:

"Many times I've been alone and many times I've cried, Anyway you'll never know the many ways I've tried, but still they lead me back to the LONG AND WINDING ROAD"

Another term I use other than the crossroad. According to him:

"It's rather a sad song. I like writing sad songs, it's a good bag to get into because you can actually acknowledge some deeper feelings of your own and put them in it. It's a good vehicle, it saves having to go to a psychiatrist ... It's a sad song because it's all about the unattainable; the
door you never quite reach. This is the road that you never get to the end
of..."

Life is a journey and in the song though, not my favorite, because it is a very sad song, I feel that Paul relates it to his struggles in life as a beatle, they think that the fame and fortune that they got which involved a lot of hard work took the smallest things in their lives like going out with
no one recognizing them, riding on a bus, the problems of the unexpected collapse of the Beatles and his life as a human being, like many of us, finding answers to our problems but sometimes the solution is not enough, it takes us to another problem leaving us in a state where we can't find ourselves, turning you to a zombie, a NOWHERE MAN.

Ok, I know, I sound too much like my influences, I am a Beatles Fan and I can't stop myself from being one, they wrote the soundtrack of many people's lives. So, what am I really pointing out? I myself is taking the long and winding road, alone and unsure and there are many things I complain about instead of being grateful, a normal problem that a man faces the lack of contentment. I always complain when my dad is angry at me telling me that I have no future for the reason that my parents disapproved my choice to take up music. Ok, If they allowed me, life for me will probably easy because in normal human instinct when you're good at something, success will be easy. Like what I've said, I followed them and finished BSBA Major in Computer
Applications in Saint Benilde. I always answer back to my father for he complains a lot for what happened to me, but I think, if I am going to be born again, I'll choose my life now than take up music, why??, because there at CSB, I met people who changed my life and made me happy during the boring hours, I learned a lot from them and even fell madly in love to one lady. Now, if I chose music, how in the world can I meet those people and this young lady???, she inspires me a lot from the day we met up to now, and though now she's one of my crossroads, I should be thankful whether I am waiting for something special between us or wait in vain forever and cry, I am still thankful that we met because she contributed a lot to who I am now.

Why complain???? Count the blessings that came ok?? :)
